U.S. Privacy Notice

This notice supplements our Global Privacy Policy for residents of the United States and describes state privacy rights that may apply.

Privacy at a glance. You can use our apps without creating an account or providing your name, payment details, address book, photos, or precise location. We use only limited device and usage data to keep the apps working, secure, and improving. We do not display third-party ads, sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising.

One Team. is the name used by HARUKI MIURA, an independent app developer based in Japan; it is not a company or incorporated entity.

1. Personal information practices

As of the publication date of this notice, our apps have not yet been distributed in the United States. When they become available, we expect to collect the categories below from users’ devices, app interactions, and users who contact us, and to use and disclose them for the operational purposes listed below. We do not collect personal information in exchange for money.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as precise geolocation, government identifiers, account credentials, financial information, health information, biometrics, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or the contents of private communications through the apps covered by this notice.

2. Retention and international processing

Analytics event data is retained for no longer than 14 months unless a shorter period is configured. Contact records are retained only as long as needed to resolve the request and meet legal or security obligations. We then delete or deidentify data when reasonably practicable.

One Team. operates from Japan. Google, its affiliates, and other service providers may process data in Japan, the United States, and other countries where they operate. See Firebase Privacy and Security.

3. State privacy rights

Subject to applicability, verification, and legal exceptions, residents of certain states may request that we:

We do not currently conduct the sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling described above. We do not discriminate against users for exercising privacy rights.

Email oneteam.dot@gmail.com with “U.S. Privacy Request” in the subject line. Include your state of residence, the right requested, and enough information for us to verify the request. An authorised agent may submit a request where state law permits; we may require proof of authorisation and direct identity verification.

If we deny your request, residents of states that provide an appeal right may appeal by replying to our decision with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. Requests and appeals are handled as required by applicable state law, including any required explanation or regulator information.

4. California notice

California residents may have rights to know, access, delete, and correct personal information and to receive equal service and pricing when exercising those rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law, we do not provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit.

Do Not Track and other preference signals. Some browsers and devices offer “Do Not Track” or similar preference signals. Our mobile apps do not currently respond to browser-based Do Not Track signals because we do not track users over time across third-party websites or online services for advertising. Google/Firebase may collect app activity and device or technical data over time within our apps, as described in Section 1, to provide analytics and related operational services; we do not permit or use that collection for third-party advertising. Where a legally recognised opt-out preference signal applies to our practices, we will process it as required by applicable law.

California’s “Shine the Light” law permits certain requests about disclosures for third parties’ direct-marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.

5. Children’s privacy

Our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent where required by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. Persistent identifiers, including IP addresses and device identifiers, may be personal information under COPPA.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 provided personal information, email oneteam.dot@gmail.com. We will investigate and delete the information where required. If an app is later directed to children or we knowingly collect from children, we will provide a COPPA-compliant parental notice and consent process before collection.

6. Changes and contact

We may update this notice to reflect changes to the apps, our practices, or the law and will provide an appropriate notice of material changes. Questions and complaints may be sent to oneteam.dot@gmail.com. This U.S. notice controls over the Global Privacy Policy where mandatory U.S. law requires.
